Coronation Street star Kym Marsh posted a picture online yesterday which she said gave her “comfort” amid the COVID-19 outbreak and unprecedented lockdown.
The 43-year-old actress was so touched by the image that she shared it with her 412,000 Instagram followers.
The beautiful photograph captured a rare fire rainbow in the sky, a natural phenomenon also known as rainbow clouds.
These iridescent clouds occur when sunlight diffracts off tiny water droplets in the atmosphere.
Because of their rarity, people are often blown away by their beauty.
Last night, Kym spotted it above her house and took comfort in it.
Alongside two pictures of the rainbow clouds, the former soap star wrote: “This appeared in the sky this evening just above my house.”
“Not sure why but I took comfort from it.”
Instagram users and fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One user said: “What a beautiful sign of better things to come Kym. I have took comfort in the picture too.(sic)”
